Needs tires that hook 430 RWHP

Over that winter I will be doing heads and be around the 430 RWHP mark. I will not be going to the track at all. I have heard Nitto's for cars that are bolt on and much after that they are no good. I have heard BFG KDW are good but to 430 RWHP?

My question is what tire to go with. I need to be able to take turns and curves still. I will not be driving in the rain or if the ground is wet.

Thanks.

A buddy of mine was dead hooking his 500+ hp camaro with M/T ET street radials. Can go wrong with those, order them now 'cause I believe they're on backorder.

I should mention I still have a 10 bolt.. How will the ET streets work with the 10 bolt , automatic blow up?

Do you have a 6-speed or auto?

Well, you have to choose 1, traction or 10 bolt. Generally they dont work together but A4's tend to be easier on them than M6's are.

Here is a multi page thread of people still on 10 bolts.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-tech/971047-how-many-you-10-bolts.html

I run MT street radials pulling low 1.6 60's with the 10 bolt.

Good luck haha

MT Drag radials will handle corners better than the ET streets and almost hook as well. but for driving on street I woulnt waste my $ since you'll get about 5000 miles if u lucky. get another set wheels and tires for the strip.

LOL I blew 2 ten bolts on Nittos.

I had no complaints with my Nitto's, I was running a 315 on a 17x10.5 TTM and if launched at the right RPM with 4.10's they would hook and go, running around 18 PSI.

If you are going to be putting A LOT of miles on the car within a year I would go with a Nitto. I went with M/T just because I only put about 1-2K miles on my car every year, so even if they only got 4,000 miles they would last me a few years.
