Default brake kit to handle all the issues of grinding and not fitting...

How would you feel about a Brake kit that's lightweight, Performs better then stock, And will allow you to run alot of 15" wheels without Grinding whatsoever. As well as Not Break the bank.

I know there is Interest as we all wish we had an alternative to the Big brake kits that wont really fit out wheels. This setup will Greatly improve your wheel selection, As well as Greatly improve your Stopping Distance, and Pedal Feel.

As More Develops i will post more in the next few weeks.

For most, its going to depend whats cheaper. The brake kit, or wheels that fit without grinding in the first place.

I would be interested in something like that since my C5 conversion limits me greatly as far as rims go for the track.

I agree. It sounds like an attempted to market the economy wheel users. Our Bogart wheel designs already have a solution for the stock guys directly fitting our front and rear wheels. Though our benefits outweigh in my opinion the use of other economy drag wheels, aside ease of fitment benefits our wheels offer, some overlook the large weight and performance benefits. For those economy drag wheel users (or future purchasers), this may be due to financial obligations or possibly misunderstanding the benefits of a lightweight wheel. Our wheels cannot meet every end-users budget.

I feel it may be a hard sell for the end user to spend let’s say a minimum of 500.00 plus dollars on a new brake setup so they can fit 800.00 prostars on the car. Especially when right now, they can spend 35.00 on a set of spacers and do a bit of grinding and make the prostar wheels fit on the late model F-body. I think the idea for the economy budget minded clients is to spend as little as possible while reaping drag racing benefits of a light-weight drag wheel.

If the setup does work and is reasonable priced, I suppose it could be a bonus as with the Billet Specialty wheels vendors sell on the board , our Bogart designs will be less expensive as there is less material and process’s needed. Our wheel would be even lighter too! Only problem the end user would see is after purchasing the brake setup, the end costs and time invested would be greater than purchasing our direct fit LS1 wheel setups we currently produce. I suppose options are always a plus for the end user.

Hope it works out for you.

Actually, This kit is will be a Huge benefit Over Stock brakes, For another Brake Upgrade to be offered on the market. Alot of people want a better braking System then stock, So they look to the C5, C6, Wilwood, And the Baer. When they Look at those Kits, there a Big Chunk of change, As well as Limited on wheels Due to the Caliper Clearance Needed on a already hi offset vehicle.

it is Not just for the 15" crowd But will be a benefit To be able to Open up your wheel selection.

Sounds like it may be a good alternative for the C5-C6 crowd. When they are done, shoot me some specs so I know how to build our wheels around them. We can go as deep as ~8"BS for the typical 15x10 drag setup. If there is less caliper overhang issues, we can even make the dishing bigger and still retain the same backspace.

If you can put together a kit that is lighter than factory that would be a big advantage too. Id definitely be interested.

also will you make these to bolt to ltx or lsx backing plates? and are you going to find a stock rotor of another vehicle that would work so its easier to find replacements or how will that work?

I’m VERY interested as well.

This is exactly want I’m looking for. I desperately want to upgrade my brakes on my DD and really want to stay with a 15” drag wheel. Like most I’ve just been torn between either sticking with my stock grinded calipers or upgrading to the C5/Wilwood set and having to run a larger wheel, which I don’t want to do. Please keep us posted on the details of this kit…
