Need help - going to purchase some c6's
 

After much debating and wearing out of the search button, I have decided that c6's would best suit my needs and wants.

The wheels in question are 18x9.5 - 18x10.5 C6 wheels going onto a 2001 Camaro with ground effects.

Can you get these wheels in polished aluminium, or just in chrome? If you can get them in polished aluminium, where should I go? Same thing with the chrome ones, where should I go for the best quality wheels and hopfully a decent price?

What off-set would you go with out cars. I don't want the tucked in look, or the sticking out look.

Next, what tires would be best? Again, I would like to stay in a reasonable price range, but at the same time want a decent tire that I'm not going to blow the tires off. I have a decent stall (SS4000) and mid 300's H.P. What size would be optimal for the wheels and would look the best? In a stagged width wheel combo, I do not want one pair of tires bulging out more the other. No drag radials because they wear too fast and are wayyyy too expensinve to replace twice a year.

Ive seen them in chrome, polished ,and black. I got polished but to me they just look like dull chrome. Not sure were to buy new ones from but I got mine from a seller on craigslist for $400. You can find vette owners selling there stock ones cheap but the rears will be 19x10 and might need a spacer. You can get 18x8.5 or 9.5" up front just be sure to get 18x10.5 out back and a 295-35-18 tire. Mine came with tires not sure what tires would be good for you.

i like the look of those C6 rims. they look good. ive considered a set of those. but still leaning towards 18" C5 Z06 rims.

where are you getting the 18X10.5 c6's from? i have 18x9.5's all the way around but i want 10.5's in the rear. I got mine from ebay a few years back and i think they are either a 56 or 58mm offset so they are lil tucked in but not bad
