my new DR's

ok i just got my DR's mounted and put on, and my problems is they damn near rub the back. they are 275/50/17. and if i ever want to run a bigger tire it would be impossible. my bro in law has a fender roller but the bottom back of it is plastic. so what do you guys do to get larger tires under your cars?

well i just looked it up and this is a 28 inch tall tire should i go for the 4.10's in the read, i mean if these bitches grab like i hope the maybe the 4.10's will make up for the taller tire.
eh fuck i'll just make more power. if i feels slow i'll jump to a 150 shot, that bitch will move then.

but will it look shitty, do you have any pics? because i may wan to go with something bigger like a 295 or so and i know that's gonna add some height to it too.

why did u choose a 275/50 m&h over a 275/40 Mt......the 275/40 will never rub

I have had to do this to some customers' cars at the shop I work at. I had to fit 30" tires on a T/A. when it comes to cutting the plastic just use an exacto knife and a steady hand and it looks just fine

a taller sidewall will help you leave better, but there are PLENTY of guys goin sub 9's on 275 40 17, granted, those are full suspension cars.

well maybe when these wear out I'll give the 275/40's a try, it shouldn't take long to wear em out, what a couple months maybe

depends on how you treat em. i would guess no more than 3 thousand miles , especially if you burn them, drive them hard, or otherwise drive your car the way it's meant to be driven:D
