Because you asked who had them. I had them ordered from vqmotoring and they ended up canceling the order and charging me a 15% restocking fee for wheels that never left their building. Bad customer service turns me off of a place very quick.

They said it was their policy once an order was placed no matter what it was the buyer was in charge from there on out. But I guess it was my fault the wheels didint get shipped the day they were supposed to, never leave their business, and ended up canceling because I was complaining about not getting my wheels lol...so you can probably see why I dont care much for them.

I've heard several complaints about VQ but I guess I was one of the lucky ones.

I ordered for the rear 19x9.5's and got 18x9.5's instead.

PoorMan May 10, 2009 09:26 AM

You can not get the 278 in 18x8.5 35mm 5x120 anymore. Was told by VQ it would be next year before they starting making them again.

If anyone has the RUFF 278 in Hyperblacks 18x8.5 35mm 5x120 fronts and 18x9.5 45mm 5x120 rears for sale; Send me a pm.

Bought my 278's from VQ and also had a bad experience.. do not deal with them clowns... Ended up costing me $300+ extra for my black wheels, because they sent me Hyper black and not Black. So i paid to ship the wheels back to them, dismount of tires, restocking fee, mount new tires, and shipping back to me.. Thanks for helping me out VQ

wow, I almost bought ruff 278s from VQ after seeing them on a vette forum. Glad I went a different direction after hearing about their poor customer service.

i have a buddy with a set for sale. just like the ones on the gto. bought them than sold the car. their basically new. tires are like new also. pm me if interested.

VQMotoring.com May 11, 2009 12:39 PM

things are not always as they seem. If a customer gets charged a restocking fee is because something did infact ship or not. We need to have that info before we can charge a restocking fee due to the fact if a C.C. company asks for proof of shipping or movement of shipping, we need to have that.

If we make a mistake we always stand up for it.. But always remember a story always has two sides.

If you all are interested in the R278s 18x8.5 they will be out of stock until next year. Only 19" staggered available in all finishes and 18x9.5 all around +45et as well is in stock.

Please PM us if you have any questions. For all other unresolved situations please contact our customer service support team at our office ext23
