Bumpstops vs. 18x11's

What exactly do I need to cut, remove, or whatever to the bumpstops? I have 18x11 rears with 315's. I can see that the metal lip right above the bumpstop comes awfully close to contacting the inner part of the rim.

I have what appear to be stock bumpstops, yellow pads shaped like:
