Talking Planet LSX Camaro gets new wheels (22")

These just arrived today, so here are some teaser shots before I do a full photo shoot.

iForged "Sprint" wheels, 22x9 fronts, 22x11 rears. 265 wide front tires, 315 wide rears, Pirelli tires. Matte black centers with chrome lips. The centers match my stripes well.

This is a test set, so the offsets need a little more work. I need the rears to tuck in about 1/4" more to be flush. There was plenty of room on the back inside to tuck more.

Great color on the Camaro, but those wheels just don't look right. Not digging them at all.

I think 20" is a good size for that car. A polished finish would look better too, IMO.

To be honest I'm not at all digging the wheels but I do really like the color combo alot, brings it all together nicely.

More tire and less wheel. A 20 would of looked good on that car. I'm not a fan of large wheels. I love the color theme tho.

How many of you guys like 18s on a 4th gen f-body? Same principle here, these BIG Camaros come with 21s from the factory. So, this is only a +1 sizing. Also, the 4th gens came with tires that are 26 inches tall. The 2010 cars come with tires nearly 29 inches tall. So, this is about the same scaling as putting 18s or 19s on your 4th gen.

The cars are physically larger, and the wheel openings are huge. What works on a 4th gen doesn't work on a new Camaro.

^ exactly Tony! You cant compare the wheel well size of the fourth gen to the new Camaro's.

Lets put it this way, you couldn't even fit a 2010 OEM tire in a 4th gen without cutting about an inch off of the wheel opening. 29" tall tires! Even 28" tall tires barely fit on the rear of a 4th gen, which is what most of us ran with drag slicks. Proportions are much different. 22" sounds huge, but the car is huge. I'll snap a pic of a 2010 SS wheel/tire next to my Firehawk. lol

I think it looks good! You totally hit the nail on the head with the sizing thing. I think that is the one thing I don't like about the new Camaro's.

Wheels look great though man.

That's true about the new Camaro. But I still feel like 22s are a little to big. A good 19f and 20r would set that car off nicely. That would still keep the muscle car feel

Those look great on there.. Now you need to throw a huge brake set and fill up those wheels with a gigantic rotor.
