haha damn son! Looks clean, makes me want to keep my fikse! |
dang! so you say your not mini tubbed at all? got 17x12s to look pretty good under there! narrowed rear at all? tell us more of your setup. oh, looks good btw!!! |
They stick out just a touch too far for my liking. I like a wheel that goes right up to the edge of the car, but not passed it. With that said, the overall look is still one of a car that is ready to do some business. |
Looks sick man!! |
:eek2: Ahhhhhhhh.... http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y92...tl/Splooge.gif -Matt |
^ :funny: |
oh and the car does look awsome! |
Holy moses that's some serious rubber. ^agreed. Give us some more specs... Bs on wheel, narrowed axle?, amount of bfh work or fender rolling... Etc. |
Not too much BFH, took the air hammer to a section at the 9'oclock section on the DS side, and the opposing side on the PS where the frame rail ties in behind and causes a bulge. Fenders are rolled, and the rear end is not narrowed. I bought the wheels used and unfortunately I don't have any info on the BS or offset but I'm trying to find it. Also, the wheels have always fit very well, perfectly flush with the fenders, but this tire bulges very very slightly. |
:thumb: Looks bad ass man, well done. |
Why not just change your gear ratio? |

As soon as you find out the BS on your wheels let us know! |
Wow! looks good |
I don't like it at all. Seems like we have a lot of Joe Dirt fans in this thread. Mini-tub the car and narrow the rear axle to do it right. Only thing missing is side pipes now ;) |

I posted these in my Toyo thread, but for those of you that don't care about Toyo's or if their DR's hook or not, I thought you might appreciate this: They are 345/40/17's which makes them a 28" tire, I need to be able and MPH better on the street and the 315's (26") limited me to 135MPH in my 1:1. I looked everywhere for a drag radial to fit that wasn't a 295 and at least a 28" and these were the best. Opinions and comments welcome! http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...m/DSC00405.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...m/DSC00406.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...m/DSC00407.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...m/DSC00410.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...m/DSC00411.jpg They bulge and therefore stick out just a tad, but not enough to warrant me to mini-tub it. |
Looks good to me. I'm thinking about trying M/T 345/35r/18 Radials for my 18x11 street setup. They are about .75 wider than my 325 radials, so they shouldn't be too hard to fit. |
Sick!!!!!!!!!! I didn't read the other thread but how do they hook and do you have any idea of their thread life??? |
