They stick out just a touch too far for my liking. I like a wheel that goes right up to the edge of the car, but not passed it.
With that said, the overall look is still one of a car that is ready to do some business.

Holy moses that's some serious rubber.
^agreed.
Give us some more specs...
Bs on wheel, narrowed axle?, amount of bfh work or fender rolling... Etc.

Not too much BFH, took the air hammer to a section at the 9'oclock section on the DS side, and the opposing side on the PS where the frame rail ties in behind and causes a bulge. Fenders are rolled, and the rear end is not narrowed. I bought the wheels used and unfortunately I don't have any info on the BS or offset but I'm trying to find it.

Also, the wheels have always fit very well, perfectly flush with the fenders, but this tire bulges very very slightly.

Why not just change your gear ratio?

Damn your car looks killer with the tire/wheel combo!

I never knew a 17X12 would fit on a F-Body without a narrowed rear end. As soon as you find out the BS on your wheels let us know!

I don't like it at all. Seems like we have a lot of Joe Dirt fans in this thread. Mini-tub the car and narrow the rear axle to do it right. Only thing missing is side pipes now

They are 345/40/17's which makes them a 28" tire, I need to be able and MPH better on the street and the 315's (26") limited me to 135MPH in my 1:1. I looked everywhere for a drag radial to fit that wasn't a 295 and at least a 28" and these were the best.

Opinions and comments welcome!

They bulge and therefore stick out just a tad, but not enough to warrant me to mini-tub it.
love the car man truly an ispiration for us all need those tires for sure

Looks good to me. I'm thinking about trying M/T 345/35r/18 Radials for my 18x11 street setup. They are about .75 wider than my 325 radials, so they shouldn't be too hard to fit.

I probably will eventually, the car is going to get torn down over the winter and I'll probably switch the rear out for something different. But now you've got me looking at mini-tubs, more money, sweet!
