ccw classic race or street
My wife will be getting me ccw's for my birthday so I need to let her know what offset I need and I really want the swiss holes but they only come in the race version.
-I dont mind runing it without center caps, but can I run these race version in the street ??
-I also need to know what offset to run?
- will they line up with the quarter panel if i want a deeper lip in the back like 3" away from the spokes ?
i want to run 17x11 with 335 hoosiers and 17x9 or 9.5 front. for a 98 z28
-how much out the door? for the polished lip and spokes?
-I'm still debating on 11 ,11.5 or 12" wide wheel i diffently want to run 335/35/17 hoosiers in the back .
let me know fellas

Lucky guy! You've got a good wife! According to the CCW site the Swiss holes and steel inserts can be applied to the street version of the Classics. If you do go with the Race versions you can definitely run them on the street! Unfortunately I can't really help you with what offset to run, I'm just starting out learning about it and since I want to get a narrowed S60 I'm sure the measurements I have wouldn't be correct for you!
The street version price will be about: $2,400
The race version price will be about: $2,200
Where you at in Nor Cal?

You probably want 56mm offset in the back, 38mm up front (ish). With a 335 Hoosier you really should go with a 17x12 and not a 17x11.
Which aftermarket calipers? Obviously a 17" wheel wont' clear most big brake kits, the only brake upgrade they will clear that I know off are C5 Z06 brakes. Even the CTS-V upgrade requires 18" wheels.

-a 17x12 would have to be an exact fit, who makes a mini tub kit?...plus my car is low sportline low i wount mind bfh, rolling the fendor and phb ... c5 brakes are cool with some hawk pads and crossdrilled rotors just got to find them new at a good price the c5 calipers.
-thanks i think ill be the one to order them, dont want to be dissapointed

The Race version wheels are not machined to accept center caps as most tracks will not allow you to run them. The center forgings are then machined to be hub centric. Street version wheels are machined larger to accept billet center caps that are hub-centric. Also, the hardware on the Race version are Grade 8 whereas the hardware on the Street version are ARP pieces. The Swiss and Steel Inserts are available on both versions.
Swiss: To remove unneeded weight additional holes are machined in between the lug nut wells and assembly hardware. This process makes cleaning a little more difficult.
Steel Inserts: Lug nut seating areas are normally machined into the forged aluminum centers. However, in conditions such as racing where the wheels will be taken on and off many times stainless steel inserts add better life to the seats as well as a great surface to adhere the lug nuts too.

I know (98mysticz) has 11 wide with the 335's but he is on zr1's with 50mm offset but its a differnt type rim so i would need to some how match the offset with the classics ?
I dont want to minitub, but ill be getting phb ,doing alot of bfh ,rolling the fenders and im lowered on sportlines. thanks lol
