Default Bad experience with OE wheels

UPDATE: OE wheels made this right with a call from management and an account credit. Thanks guys

I realize they are not a supporting vendor here but just wanted to pass along my experience with them.

I called them last Tuesday morning @ 8am to order a set of 18/19 wheels. Before paying I asked the representative if there would be any issue with UPS ground delivering the wheels to me in NC by Friday. The representative said the wheels would go out Tuesday for sure. Since OE is in FL and the UPS ground transit time is two days he said there would be no issue and that I would definitely get them.

I needed the wheels by Friday as my car was on jack stands because I sold my other wheels last weekend. I got an email from OE on Wednesday and included in the body of that email it stated that all orders are shipped within 10 business days. This prompted me to call AGAIN to confirm that the wheels had been shipped and that I would get them by Friday. I let it go at that.

I work 200 miles from here and leave Sunday and then return home Friday night. This means that my car will be on jack stands for another week. It was supposed to get tuned by my good friend and tuner this week after he put the rest of the break in miles on it.

Bottom line...........if TWO different OE wheel reps had been straight up with me I could have made different arrangements to get some wheels and get my car back on the road. Now I have a set of tires from discount tire (who shipped them Wednesday from TX) that arrived on Friday via UPS ground BUT no wheels to put them on.

I know OE is a LARGE company and I believe that causes them to have the impression they are not suceptible to the negative comment from a FEW consumers. Well I will do my best to get the word out there that they are not operating as they should. I am sure me cancelling one wheel order would not have negatively effected a huge company like that but my negative comments may.

Ya I got a bad vibe from them bc they sent me a PM and said that they'd throw in a free set of lugnuts if I bought a set of deep dish ZR1s. When it was time for me to order a set, they said that they couldnt throw in free lugs. Not a big deal, but at the same time, they went against there word.

I ordered 2 sets of wheels off of ebay from them, and didnt have any issues. But then again, i was expecting a decent amount of time before theyd be shipped. I hope they can make it right for you.

OE wheels shipped only three matching wheels and one odd wheel when I placed an order for deep dish C5s. However, they arranged for free return shipping and got the outstanding wheel to me within a week. In the end, I lost a week of time with the car and was somewhat annoyed, but the results (a great looking set of wheels for a great price) were worth the effort.

I had a great experience with them. I did the express shipping, since it was only $19 more. And even with me ordering them right before a holiday weekend, they were still to me within 3-4 business days.

Dont feel bad i tried ordering some rims from them and I told them i would be paying by money order and they told me they preferred credit cards and i said" but your web site says you accept money orders" and they said "yea but we prefer credit cards" I've spent thousands ordering parts for my SS paying by money order and they would'nt? so I decided to keep my chrome SS 10 spokes and have them widened to 11 inches

That's the problem. I never revolve or plan my day on others "word." More than half the time other people don't hold their own.
