Default Toyo 345/40/17??

Anyone put these on a 17x11 wheel? I'm thinking about trying it out just want some feedback before. I had the Hoosier 335/35/17 on them with no problem and I loved them just want to try something with a little more pattern.

They should fit a 17x11 ok, they were a little bulgy on my 17x12's, but any tire with that much sidewall will be.

Ya I remember seeing pics. of them on your car. I can live with a little buldge.....lol. How they hook up for you? Keep in mind I don't have as much HP as you did.

Honestly, I'd rather have gone with a M&H and gone a little narrower, the Toyo's didn't hook very well. They may do ok on a 400 or 450 RWHP car, but much more than that, I'd go with a different compound. 26" MT's hooked a lot better than the 28" Toyo's did.

EDIT: These: http://www.mandhtires.com/store.php?...on=show_detail, a buddy has them on his car, 570RWHP N/A, dead hooks at 20mph with 28psi and 35* outside. Sick tires.

Those M&H's are sick. I had them on my car and loved the way they hooked. The only thing I didn't like was how narrow they looked. I had them on a 17x9.5" wheel and they were narrower than my 275/40's up front.

That's cool I'm assuming I'm in that 400-500 range. Either way its just to drive around don't do much racing on the street its all done at the track.

Did you end up getting them yet? im lookin for more pics of the 345 tire. i want to run that size on my setup but dont want to drop the money for new tires just to findout they wont fit. Would be nice to findout how wide and tall they are monted on 17x11s!

Yes I went ahead and bought them. I have them mounted on the wheels just not on the car yet. They fit fine and look good IMO!! I'll post some pics in a bit for you.
