At a stand still... opinions on my next rims welcomed! I sold my ZR1's and am looking for something new. I was thinking all black C5 Z06 all along, then saw all black C6 Z06 on a Camaro and loved it.
I want to go all black, but I will also consider C5 DD at all 4 corners (18x10.5).
The C5 Z06 come in 18's, and the C6 Z06 I would get in 17's for many reasons.
Going with 275's all around, street tires. (Will go 285's if I get the C5 DD)
VOTE! If other, post up.
Plans for the car are tinted side markers and turn signals, light tint on tails, and likely projectors up front.

Yeah I like those as a wheel, but I can't picture them on my car.
Tspence, what size tires are you running? How do you like the DD up front? I don't want to wait until April to get these steelies off my car!! (I'm not a fan of 18/17 staggered)

I'm running 275/35/18 up front, and 335/30/18 Nitto DR's out back. I also hate 17/18 combos, that's why I decided to run 18x10.5's on all 4 corners. And, there's pictures somewhere on here of a black Camaro with 18x10.5's on all 4 corners too. Let me see if I can find them.

I like those lswon, but I'm wanting to get away from a polished lip.
I think I've gone back around and about to order some all black C5 Z06's. Awaiting a few answers from the seller..

Well looks like the c5z's will be about $200 more mounted/balanced than the c6z's, so I may just go ahead and order the c6z's soon.

i would love to see a set of c6zo6 deep dish in all black! I thought about getting the black ones with the polished lip and then powder coating the lips!

Those would be sick. I don't have the fund to buy them and then have the lips PC'd though, so I'm prob just gonna settle for the regular c6z.

I'm so sick of seeing C5 Z's.... I hate the way they look on these cars, and they just look like a cheap wheel. And they always look small to me too, espeically the ones with the rivets. The 17's in that size look like 15's IMO.
EDIT: and holy crap, I can't beleive the C5 Z's are winning. Why does everyone have such a hardon for this wheel? BIG step down from a ZR1, IMO.
