new nitto street radials???
My buddy says he just got a new set of street radials for his SS, he said compared to the 555's, theres were 2x's better and that they were a new model...he said he got them from tirerack and they were out of stock now...
anyways I can't get up with him to ask him again what kind they are...I'm in the market for some street radials, any clue what model they are?

Ah well, I'm trying to get big into drag racing. Since I bought the car back in Febuary of this year, I've added a K&N filter w/ aftermarket lid, Edelbrock throttle body, LS2 timing chain, LS6 intake mani, Kooks LT headers, ORY, SLP loudmouth, new steel flywheel, tick master cyl., new slave cyl., new throwout bearing, new pilot bearing, Monster lvl 3 clutch, Transmission is at Tick Performance as we type getting the level 2 re-build. Just bought chromemoly UMI torque arm, UMI LCA's and UMI LCA re-location brackets last night.
I also have a set of 241 heads with 300 miles of the patriot dual gold valve springs but haven't installed yet ( waiting on cam and tune ).
to make a long story short, lol...with these mods and some great street radials, even with the stock GM 10-bolt, leaving off the tree on say 2,000 RPM on some street radials could give me GREAT time-slips?
Man I love modding this ******* car...

Hey:
Too bad I just sold my old polished set of 18" C5 Zo6 wheels, 18x9.5, Nt05 275 35 fronts, 10.5, Nt05R 315 40 rears, seeing you are local (30-45 mins away) you could have saved on shipping, they worked very well, better than the Nitto 555s, I have on now, I just wanted different wheels, 10.5 all around, should have kept the tires. They worked especially well in the rain, best drag radial yet, for a street driven car, if you ask me.

Hey:
Finding C4 ZR1 wheels in 18 "will be hard, 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear are the common sizes for them. The current ZR1 Spyders look real good but still kind of pricey @ most places. The C5 & C6 Z06 wheels are the best bang for the buck thats why you see them everywhere. oewheelsllc is a good place to shop for them. Maybe somebody can chime in with another place.
