Default 17-18's x 13

I'm looking for a set of preferably 18x9 for front and 18x11 for back. But my main question is what should I buy as far as wheels? I'm looking to get something cheaper for track racing, not drag. I'm guessing forged aluminum? Any recommendations, I'm on a college budget.

18x11 is really pushing it for the front end several people will agree that x10.5 is about the best you want to go before you start rubbing the inner wheel well. As for a 13 inch rear wheel once again without going to Mini-Tubs for the rear you simply not going to get that 11 inches will require major massaging of the wheel well. Hope this helps

You should check out OE Wheels, they have some great setups and it won't break the bank plus they are one of LS1techs sponser and we try to keep it in house if possible.

How are you going to fit an 11" wheel in the front? My 17x9s rubbbed on tight turns. A better question, how are you going to fit a 13" wheel in the rear? I'm guessing the car is tubbed with a narrowed housing?

Wow, I wasn't thinking when I posted that. I was looking at my mudding tires before I posted that. I'm looking at 11's in the rear and 9's in the front.

CCWs are nice wheels, but may be out of your college budget.

Hey:

Go 18x10.5 at all corners it is a very common street and track setup 56mm spacing should work for all 4, or staggered 56mm frt & 58mm rear, works too. check out oewheelsllc on here. may even have a deal in your price range. for tires 285 35 18 max in front without spacers. 315 in rear unless its a TA, as they can go 335, good luck on your choice.

Just a heads up, I can fit a 315/35/18 on a 10.5" wheel on the front of my car without a spacer. It's close to the knuckle, but it fits. And you can fit 335s on a camaro just like you can on a T/A.

315s can be fit without doing a damn thing to the rear of the car. Every car is different, some need work, some don't. I really didn't need to do a thing to fit 315s, but I did to make sure there wouldn't be an once of rubbing when I would run my car at the track with slicks.
