Default which street tire? bfg kdw 2 or nitto nt05

hey guys, im buying two rear tires, these will be street tires NOT the drag radial versions and i'm wondering what tire will be a better peforming tire, and is it true that the nitto's run skinnier then other brands. the tire will be a 295-35-18, i dont want DR's cause the cars a daily driver but i still want it to hook descent if i go to the drag strip once in a blue moon. So my question is what tire would you guys chose? i know there are better choices out there but these are the only two tires that i'd consider affordable so let me know what you guys think, sorry if its alot of rambling on but im just trying to explain my situation lol

What mods are done to the car? I ran the BFG KDW 2 (295/35/18) when I was cam only (375rwhp) and I could cut 1.8 60' with them. They hook pretty good for a street tire when warmed up a little.

The NT05 are a little narrower but will still provide better traction. They will not last as long though. I was happy with the KDW and like my NT05 even more, but I do run the occasional road coarse event.

i have the nittos in the exact same size as your going to be getting and they are great. launched on the street side by side with m/t drag radials 275 one time. run about 25 psi and they hook extremely well. daily drove on them and only lasted me about 6 months before they were almost gone. will be buying new ones again.

275/35/18 front and 295/35/18 rear is my set up nt05 all around and they are an excellent road course/ mountain run tire
