Default Which car manufacturer you think make the best OEM wheels?

I just wanted to find out who you guys think makes the best OEM wheels? I have a Z28 Camaro and the wheels these cars came with are ugly. I'm used to them now but cant wait to get some 17s, (at least). I'm a hard core GM guy but I have to give Ford props for having some nice wheels on their stock vehicles like the f series trucks to the mustangs. BMW puts some nice wheels on their cars too, but I know they use BBS. Let me know what you guys think?

94 formula firebird right now . i also like the pontiac 17-9 ws-6 wheel and the wheels
from the 97 -02 firehawk firebirds .

Hey:

^ I agree GM makes some great looking wheels just look at the Vettes and Caddies. The old Hummers looked pretty good too. For some reason the Camaros don't the same flash and bling as the rest of the lineup.

Thats true. There are great GM wheels I love Corvette wheels. Firebirds are a little better than Camaros. I do like the black steelies on the 2010 camaro for some reason.

In todays ultra competitive market, I would be surprised if any car makers actually make any wheels, they likely sub them out to sub contractors who supply them with what they need to their specs & drawings. FWIW.

Most "OEM" wheels today are done by aftermarket companies for anything other than simple steel wheels.

Mustang Bullit wheels - American Racing
2002 WS6 Speedline wheels - Speedline. (duh - why do you think they're called Speedline wheels )
I believe Z06 wheels are also Speedline.

Very true. My bros 3series wheels are from BBS. I've noticed Alcoa makes alot of wheels for trucks. I wish my camaro came with some BBS wheels, that would be sweet or even better some HRE wheels LOL. While GT mustangs came standard with bullit wheels we got stuck with lame 16inchers.

I work for a Mazda dealer and noticed the factory wheels on a 91 miata I worked on this morning were Enkei wheels. Im also pretty sure that there are no longer any wheels manufacturered by GM, Ford etc..... Ive seen other "aftermarket" manufacturers on some of the other brands here, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Saab, Porsche....I just cannot remember who their sources are for wheels.

Correct.
Speedline makes aluminum wheels OEM for most of the auto manufacturers:
Porsche
Dodge
GM
Audi
Puegot
Ford
BMW
...and others
They also have they're aftermarket line Speedline Corse

Nissan has the best oem wheels. The 350z and 370z have some deep offset rims and look very nice. The GTR obviously has unique and very stylish wheels, the Titans and Armadas wheels look sturdy and tough, then it goes into the Infiniti brand they own and those wheels are amazing too. Hands down.

I like BMW's wheels on most of their "M" cars.
