Pretty much everyone will tell you that you'll need at least a 12" wide wheel to run that size tire.

I had a friend that ran them with no problem on I think a 10.5" wheel. The only bad thing was that the whole contact area of the tire wasnt used because they bulged out to much.

wow...i just bought some tt2's today from a local 17x11 and i'm in the same boat as u. the m&h drag radials 325/45/17 is what i want. i'm not sure if you have to mess with the bumpstops though. BFH and fender rolling will be required for sure.

no that's dumb.

I could see someone running 325s, some even 335s with a good bulge, but jesus 345s...just buy the right freaking width rim.

Yea 345 is really pushing it lol. 325 is fine, 335 as said above Is doable and I would probably run them also if I had them. 345 is really pushing it though, that's like putting a 315 on a 9inch rim. It's going to bulge alot and probably most of the contact area will be wasted.

I run 345/30/18s on 18x11s just fine, without a crazy amount of bulge.

That looks perfectly fine for me, maybe no one has tried a 345 on 17x11 so is making the assumption it won't work....

I guess it also depends on which brand of tires you're running too as some run wider or narrower than others.

Quick Reply: any one run 345 40 17 on 11" rims ( pic ) ?
