Default Had a blowout...what tire?

Cruising home, going 70, driver side rear tire blows out. What I am most upset about is that there was a ton of tread left . These are huge expensive tires, and I am pretty sure the manufacturer doesn't make them anymore.

Tire: BFG KD 315/35 ZR17. I have been looking online and I am not seeing them anywhere.

If I have to go with new tires (this guy isn't mismatching the rears), any recommendations? Or if anyone knows where I can get a single replacement, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

That sucks man. At least your car didn't get hurt or your rims. You got lucky. Where/when did you get the tires? You might could take them back and make the shop replace them if it wasn't too long ago. It looks like those are a limited production and no one knows when they are having another production run haha. I'm sure some people will recommend Nitto's.

FML. Anyone interested in a single BFG KD 315/35 ZR17? with 80%+ tread left?

I have had these tires for years now! Maybe for about 5. I didn't drive the car at all until the past year and a half. It had to turn into my DD.

Its nice having a tire guy, especially with how quickly these cars go through them .

After I got my car set up, I learned tires are real expensive. Went through a brand new pair of rears in about 4-6 months. Haven't done a burn out since. lol
