Hoosier DR's ??

Has anyone put the Hoosier DR's on the street ?? Please don't chime in about rain, I understand the consequences of a wet road. I'm intersted in how they hook on the street. Of all the DR's they seem to have the "best" sidewall for a stick car.

Thanks...

So no one has ran Hoosier DR's in the street ?? I've searched but no one really breaks down the pros and cons of this DR. Seems everyones running M/T's or QTP's but not much on how they compare to the Hoosier DR's.

My car is basically just a Friday/Saturday night ride so mileage is the only other question. I put about 1200 miles on her last summer and kind of expect the same this summer. Do you guys think I could get that mileage out of the tire ??

Thanks....

Hands down Hoosiers are best DR out there! However they really wear fast on the street! I dont see a prob getting 11-1200 miles on the street. Just dont expect much more than that. And I wont go into wet weather stuff, LOL! They do hook on the street very well and awsome at the track. They are also alot lighter than any other DR! Hope this helps!

Thanks....FYI, I'm in the 500rwhp range (N/A) but I also spray 150-200 depending on traction and with my drag pack on shes at 3010lb with me.

I'm hoping this tire works for me (thinking 315/35/17).

Thanks.......
