Default Tire Ideas please

Hey guys I need some suggestions for tires. I have a 99 SS Camaro with the stock 17 inch rims and am about do for new tires. I currently have Yokohama S-Drives which are nice, ive also had BFG KDW's that turned to plastic when it got down to 30%.

Im looking for a aggressive tire that grips really well, but that also last. Worst case ill buy Yokohama's again.

I will say that Yokohama's are good but they dont last - I have the ES100s on mine and I am ready to change. Have had them for 4 years/ 28,000 miles. Weird as it sounds I was looking at the Continental DWS for my next set.

Nitto 555s have lasted awhile for me. Over 25,000 miles on the fronts and they still have another 10,000 or more easily I'd say.

So i looked up the Continetal DWs and they actually got better reviews over all the other tires i looked at. My dad told because im a college student and close to graduating that i need to be more practical so Michelin Pilot sports are out of the question. I compared the tires to BFG gForce T/A KDW2s. yokohama S-drives, Bridgestone Potensa RE760.

Had a tread wear rating of 340 comparred to 300 and below on everything else. Its mainly dry here in California and i do like going on twisties and mountain roads at speed, so grip is a must.
Please keep the ideas flowing gentlemen! thanks

I run 18" wheels . . 9.5's front with a 275/35R18 and 10.5's in back with 295/35R18 . .

Handles extremely well, but I have a ton of suspension mods too . . .

Super sticky tire.

Rain? . . Have not noticed and issues that bother me. But try to minimize my rain time.
