285's

So i have my 18X 10.5's with a 285/35/18 tire, and when i go to jensen to get them mounted, they say i need longer studs with a half inch wheel spacer. It's not rubbing on the fender well, but some kind of rubber stopper? what is this shit? i know i've seen people here who have the same set up but 295's on the back. Why am i have all the trouble? I have a 99 T/A if that makes a difference. thanks for any help or suggestions

tell the morons to jack it up by the axle when mounting them. That will keep the suspension compressed and they will fit. You have to do the fronts first then jack the rear up by itself. put the jack under the center section of the axle.

Yep - do not let the rear axle hang while they are being installed on the car.

i love this site.... you guys are god to me. Thanks. I'll take it back in this weekend and when i get them on i'll be sure to post pics of it next to my dad's 1990 Corvette ZR-1 Callaway supernatural 475.... we just picked that up a couple weeks ago with 10k miles and it still looks and smells band new. Oh yeah, and its FAST. Thanks again for all the help.
