I personally would choose a different rim, just my taste. I prefer something with a nice lip on it.

It wouldnt look bad however.

The only persons input that matters on this subject is yours.

Nope i'd say your input matters too being you hit the nail right on the head. I too prefer a wheel with a lip, the bigger the lip the better and especially for a 4th gen bird. I prefer a C5 DD for a bird, really flows with lines of the car IMO.

i called OE about a set of these for my SS since i'm trying to talk myself out of ordering a $3K set of CCW's.......they have the rears in stock, but not the fronts.......i think they would look even better on a pewter T/A though

dont talk yourself out of ccws, whats with you man, listen imo we could talk oewheels all day, but when it comes down to it a high dollar rim just changes the level of car you have, it goes from seen that a million times to wow i can look at that a million times, and if your keeping your car for the long haul then why not get a great set of wheels.yes there alot of cash, but well worth it, honest i love ccws , but the fm5 is kinda a wheel that cant be beat on a camaro, fikse has also lowered there prices ,i think 17s start at 725 or something like that in any width ,

I personally would go with the Machined Face C5 wheels, 18x9.5 up front and 18x10.5 in the rear on a Pewter car. Like said before, the C5's flow well with the lines and body of a T/A but that's if your on a budget, if not, I say go with CCW or Fikse. Just my $0.02.

dang brotha' bob ...lol.....the CCW's will happen eventually, and i agree with everything you're saying.....there's nothing that sets an f-body off like a high end set of wheels.....FM5's are awesome, but lately i'm crazy about CCW Classic's with titanium or black centers....i'm not talking myself out of CCW's for good, just postponing. .....the thing that's got me hesitating is that i wanted to get a Ford 9" narrowed on each side first, (probably MWC) so that when i am finally ready to buy the CCW's, i could get a little bigger lip in the back, that's all....i'm just ready for something different in the meantime, and most of the OE wheels are priced low enough that i could make a change, it wouldn't set me back too much (i get a killer discount on tires), i could run spacers after the MWC goes in and i'd have a fresh set to roll on till the Classic's get here
