It's that time again, to choose a wheel for my Cobra. I had a similar debate with my mineral grey car last year, and loved the black on that car. I ended up selling those wheels after deciding to sell the car, but now want a set for my SY Cobra. The sizes will be as follows:

17x4.5 Weld Alumastar Fronts with 2.25" backspace
15x10 Weld Weldstar RT Rears with 6.50" backspace

Either the polished finish, or the black. I couldn't really find either wheel on a SY car, so I made a couple very crappy photochops in MS Paint. So blur your eyes and look at them, and let me know which setup would look best against the SY in your opinions.

Honestly, those wheels make both of those Cobras. If it wasn't for the CCWs, I wouldn't have much interest in them.

I personally like the polished/chrome more than the black.

Polished all the way on a Mineral Grey car. I have the polished Alumastars on my Bullitt and IMO they are awesome against the dark colors.

I have the polished ones on my NBM Camaro, and love them. I decided on black with the Mineral Grey car, I put both polished and black on it and liked black the best. Now I need a set for my yellow Cobra, but I'm leaning towards black on that car. The polished just doesn't pop as much against the bright yellow like it does with darker colored cars.

not a fan of black wheels but DAMN that black looks sick...if only you paint your polished ones in MS paint and put them on your cobra.
