Default Help Guys plz! 35th LE wheels are effed up!!

I just bought these and knew they were messed up and now I want to fix them, previous owner had tried to clean them with a heavy degreaser and completely messed up the clear coat, so I was wondering if I can strip these myself and not mess up the black...they are OEM GM stamped

Sorry for the big pics but just want you guys to really see what im talking about

They can't be fixed so just sell them to me lol, honest have you tried any Polish on it. I had a set of wheels that were kinda like that and metal Polish cleaned it up.

This will sound dumb but how do they look when there wet? if they look fine and perfect with water on them you can scuff them up with some 2000 or 1500 grit sand paper and put a coat of clear over them

You just want to give a light scuff to give the paint a better bond to the surface.. You can use bulldog adhesive promoter before you clear it also for better bond. Before you do anything try the water test to see if this a route worth taking............ You can also semi gloss clear

that is delamination and cracking of the clearcoat. only thing you can do is refinish.

Yeah I agree with post above, or trying a small amount of paint stripper on one of the spokes, try a few things out, if ya can't fix them I will still buy them.

yeah redoing them may be best. you could have used any 10 spokes but tha center cap is key since they have the machined look so hopefully you can salvage those
