Talking fixing aluminum wheels curb rash

there was a thread a long time ago that had a guy with some TT II's that had some curb rash. he went through a detailed description of how he sanded and repolished it.

i have some small curb rash from a pot hole i hit that i would like to sand out. anyone have some detailed instructions or tips to help me out of this jam.
in thinking of using a dremel or something to see what i can do

HELP!

When I scraped my rim on a curb I used the black and decker mouse to smooth the grind out. First sanded it down using the sanding pad, then used the steel wool to polish. Then the nappy white pad to polish a bit more. Worked perfect.
