67 455 Bird ragtop

Been doing a little research. Looking to find opinions about street tires. It seems that the Hoosier Pro Street were the favorite for the street the last year or so. I understand that street radials are not meant for racing. I'll get some slicks for that. Just looking for a good Pro Street tire for local and maybe some short highway driving. Has anything changed in the last year or so. Or are the Hoosiers still the better tire instead of the M/T SRs. Also, I live in Florida and"may" get caught in an ocassional rain shower. But I'll mainly be a fair weather driver with this car.
