18's on 02 WS6

I am leaning towards a set of 18's for my 02 WS6. I had always planned on the normal 17" with 275's up front and 315's out back. If I go 18's would I still be able to run the 275, 315 combo but with a shorter sidewall? If not what is the popular tire sizes for 18's?

No 315 avail. 275/35R18 front on a 9 or 9.5" wide wheel. 295/35R18 on a 10 or 10.5" wide wheel.

Well there are some 315/30 r-18"s available, but they are PRICEY. I think you're better off getting a cheaper 295

Pirelli PZero Rosso Asimmetrico (original equipment on the 911 GT2 $$CHA-CHING$$)
Pirelli PZero Corsa (Competition) OUCH EXPENSIVE

Thanks guys. To run the 295 tire what width wheel should I run? Now I am back to wanting the 17's again so I can run the 315 tire. :)

I have heard about needing to roll your fenders to fit 315's. Would a 295 require the same or would it clear with no problems? Keep in mind I have the SLP level 1 suspension kit. So my car is lowered about an inch in the front and rear.

It actually depends. The 295 gives flexablity on offsets so one can set the wheel appropraitely so as not to nee to roll the fender lip.
