How to fix these 35th's??

So I recently picked these up and they are in fair condition. They have some rash but I'm not worried about that. I noticed they have some scratches in the clearcoat and I was wondering If I can work those out? I am not getting them refinished as I can't afford to. I need some DIY system if there is one.

If the scratches are in the clear coat (and not to deep) you could try Meg's m105/m205 on a DA polisher with a medium/heavy cutting pad. That's where Ide start. Just my .02¢

I think they are in the clear. I tried hand polishing with some fine stuff but nothing serious. Ill try again later and tomorrow.

start with something light and work your way to more aggressive

Maybe try a light polishing compound? My 35ths had some marks too, but cleaned up with a little of the purple wax spray stuff and some elbow grease. Honestly as rare as these things are, I wouldn't do anything too extreme. Just wait and save for professional refinishing.

Alright guys polishing didn't work. So I did some 1000 wetsand and then 1500. Got most of the stuff out but some marks are way into the metal and I couldn't even get close. They look great from a foot or so back.

Those wheels look great.. Good job on getting them done

Thanks. Some marks are etched so I didn't wanna go to far. But I realized no one will ever be real close to them so trying to polish them perfect was pointless.
