Default Any BFH/bump stop issues with 295/35/18s on 18X10.5/58mm offset wheels?

I've read the stickys and searched for days, but just curious for those who have installed this setup on a Camaro. Any BFH work or bump stop grinding/removal?

Would a 15mm Eibach spacer reduce or eliminate the need for any wheel well modifications?

Thanks.

With a 9.5" wheel with 61mm offset I needed a 5/16" spacer to clear the bumpstops, giving me 7.4" needed from the back of the wheel to clear. With a 10.5" wheel 58mm offset you'd need a 20mm spacer to get to 7.4" to clear.

Hey, thanks for the response bufmat. Base on your figures, I made a few calculations myself and you are dead on - 20mm.

But, do you think I could get away with the 15mm spacer? And if I went to the H&R 25mm spacer, do you think I would run into issues with the fender lip?

I have maybe 3/8" between the lip and the bumpstop at full droop, if you went with 15 you'd be at about 1/8" clearance...but as long as you are never at full droop (aka no jumping it) the bumpstop resides inside the diameter of the wheel and you'd be ok.

LOL! No Dukes of Hazzardin' the car anytime soon.

But if I did decide to go with the 25mm spacer/adapter just to be safe (guess that would be like moving your tire 5mm closer to the fender - little less than a 1/4"), do you think I would run into fender lip issues with the 295s?

Thanks man. Appreciate your help on this.

You can take a look at my thread "295/35 on a 9.5 rim POST YOUR PICS" and see my pictures and judge for yourself on the wheel lip to fender, I haven't put enough miles on mine to have issues tho.
