Filling empty spaces
Okay. So I've read all the stickies about offset and spacing. Maybe I'm not applying myself fully or maybe I'm just dumb, but I'm not quite getting it.
I have a stock 2000 Camaro z28 with stock rims and tires. For now I'm good with the 300+ horses and torque and my main issue to address is the stance. This is my first F-body and am brand spankin new at the game.
Lezbehonest, the stock ride and offset, whatever it may be, is very much the 90's. My questioin is this:
With a 17" rim, what width, offset and tires will best fill the wheel well in the rear?
I'm not a low profile tire guy. I like a good amount of rubber. The inset wheels and tires in the rear irks me to no end and is my first order of business. I plan on a 1.25 drop in the future and am wondering if I need to take that into account.
I'm sorry if this is a often asked question or has been answered already. Any help would be appreciated, even if I am routed to a pre-existing post.
Thank you.

Just from a little research I did a while back I got these numbers.
If you want the wheel flush with the fender:
Rear
18x10.5 40mm offset.
18x10 28mm
I cant remember the fronts, but I think its something like 18x9.5 with a 12mm offset.
