Yep I had them for 2 years on my Mustang and loved them. Basically they wear like a Nitto 555R, but stick closer to a BFG. If you are mainly a street car with ocassioanal track visits I highly reccommend them

I have these in 315/35/17s. They are a lot wider than the Nitto 555Rs. They hook a lot better and wear just as good. I have 14k miles on them and could easily get another 2-5k out of them depending on how I use them.

I cut a 1.72 with my cam only car and I think I could've got a slightly better 60ft but didn't have the tools to adjust my suspension at the track and my trans blew it's 3-4 clutch pack two days later.

I got mine from Tire Crawler.

Thanks to all, I ordered 315/35/18 for the rears. $261.00 per tire on Tire Rack. That's quite a savings $$ over same size tire in Nitto, BF Goodrich, M/T or Goodyear! I also like the fact I get just a little more sidewall than the 315s w/ 30 aspect ratio. I know Nitto has 315s with 40 aspect ratio but they're pricey for my budget.

I have them on my car in 315/35/17 and I really like them. When they wear out I will get another pair.

A friend of mine runs them on his turbo car. He really likes them. They were great on the street and he still hooked pretty well with them. Went LOW 11's with them driving right in off the street. He only had them in a 255/50/16, but he just bought some new ones with his new wheel setup and the rears are a 345/40/17. Should be significantly better. His first set lasted about 5-6k miles, and they were not easy miles by any means.

From what I've read on here they are the best all around drag radial. I was going to buy them last summer but they weren't available so I went with NT555s. Once they wear out I'll DEFINITELY get the Toyos.

Nitto (North America) is a subdivision of Toyo. So similarities would be expected.

loved my toyo tq's. lasted 10k miles and over 100 passes. they are very sticky right from the factory. In my opinion much softer compound than the nittos. Werent bad in the rain either as long as u take your time.

What pressure do you guys recommend running these at on the street and at the track? I know I've heard Nittos wear a lot worse at anything over 25 psi or so.

I cant decide between the toyo TQ or NTO5R? You guys make it hard to decide...lol

Both seem like really good choices. I want something that will hook and be safe to drive in wet conditions and still last long.

Are they the same price?

The Toyos are going to last longer.
