Deciding between BS Street Lites and Weld RT-S - Fitment Question
So, I've pretty much narrowed it down to these two for a 17x9.5/17x11 combo setup for my car.
I like the way both look, but prefer the Weld look a bit more. Also, the Welds are a little stronger, a little lighter, and still within budget.
But I have a question on the backspacing.
With the Billet Specialties Street Lites, I'd run 17x9.5 w/7" BS and 17x11 w/7.75" BS. Pretty much the standard F-Body fitment.
But for the Weld RT-S, there's a couple of options. Out back, I'd run 17x11 w/7.8" BS. But up front, I could run either 6.8" or 7.3" BS with the 17x9.5. I'm leaning more toward a flush look with the 6.8" BS, but wondering if that'd cause any problems clearing the fender if the car is lowered down on Stranos? It works out to a 39mm offset, so it's pretty much right on the edge of what is recommended.
Any thoughts as to if I'd have problems?

I would run the 7.3 back space and then you can fine tune it with spacers if the offset doesn't work for the way you want it to look. You can always go out... not in.
Give me a call when you're ready to order... I have the guaranteed lowest prices on either Weld or Billet Specialties.

The Street Lites are very nice. The problem with the Weld RTS is they look amazing in 15s and in black. 17s and polished... not so much from what I've seen. And I'd like to run polished against my Black WS6.
The Street Lites look good in 17s polished as the Camaro above demonstrates
In fact, here are some pics that sort of sold me on the Street Lites:

I had the street lites on my black WS6. I was between them and the RTS's but after I had them on the car, I was happy with my decision. Cant go wrong either way.
MWC definitely has the deals on these. Got mine from them.

if you go welds imo go with the same offset thats on the sti killer ,the lip is what really sets the welds off, both will look great but steping up to a 18x10/11 setup with the perfect lip will make so much more of a wow factor, imo without that the welds just look ok to me,if ypur already spendibg that much go the extra distance, just my 2 cents ,streetlites are a killer looking wheel and i think look a lil better in a 17,everyones opinion will vary
