Default 70's style wheels on 4th gen.

I really need to buy a tire machine.
Id like to keep the stock wheels/tires as the 4 tires are newly mounted.
I have a set of Corvette rally's, and a set of T/ A snow flakes..both sets 15x8.
Any chance they would fit for some winter use?
Thanks.

Do you mean you're trying to fit a set of 2nd gen "snowflakes" on a 4th gen car? If so, the wheels might clear the brakes, but will stick WAY out, and might even touch the fenders. The 2nd gen 8" wheels had 4" of backspace, while the 4th gen's OE wheels had 6" of backspace.

Pretty sure you're talking about the YearOne Snowflakes. Those are made for 4th gens and are in 17x9 I believe.

Are you sure about that? I seem to recall the wheels are $6-700 each...$2800/set.

Not... cheap...

But seem to be very unique if you're looking for something not many others have.

Antracite TTM on a Formula.

I also put 1960/1970s PMD center caps on them.

I would like to see a TTM with old school SS or Z28 center caps. No good Z28 pics, but I have seen a few that might work.

I've been thinking of the same thing, especially with how cheap original snowflakes are. I heard backspacing was an issue though.

Someone try and put them on, tell us what you find!

Looks like intercoolers and those are the deflectors.
