F1 GS-D3's

Would the F1 GS-D3's in 285/40/17 on a 17 X 10 wheel work ok up front or will there be issues? Some say the F1's run a little Wider than most, like Nitto runs narrower. Just wanted to know before I decide on what to purchase.

I would think that they would work fine. Since 315 millimeter = 12.4015748 inch [international, U.S.] and 285 millimeter = 11.2204724 inch [international, U.S.] You should be fine since myself and many other people run the 315's on an 11 inch rim it seems like and Inch tolerance is about right but someone correct me if i'm wrong.

So the 285/40/17 F1 GS-D3's on 17x10's up front should work ok? I'm currently running 275's on a 17x9.5 up front and I'll get rubbing on real hard turns sometimes but nothing to serious.

Should work fine. Will be just a touch taller than stock. At full lock the tire will more than likely rub the black inner fender liner, but that you don't hear or feel, you'll just see marks on the liner.

cool thanks for the input guys

I tried this on 17 x 9.5 yesterday and the 285 F1 GS-D3 will rub on the inner liner at / near full lock.

It depends on the offset too. If they are more like the Torq Thrust II's (which are offset towards the outside of the car more than stock wheels), then you will be fine. Factory wheels sit in the wheelwells more than most aftermarket wheels for example.

With the correct offset, you can run 17x11 and 315/35/17s up front without rubbing.
