thanks guys! yea being able to rotate them was one of my deciding factors for the square setup, I rotate them every spring when I put them back on after winter storage. still no complaints yet on the setup!

Even though I don't like polished lip wheels, those look GREAT!!

Weld does not offer an ALL painted RTS from the factory, correct?

Those tires have a wicked tread pattern, but I wish that B-Stone would release the larger 18" diameter sizes already (max now is a 275/35-18 ), in their RE-71R since that is currently one of the hottest 200 tread wear autocross tires.

I wasn't a big fan of polished lips myself, but these have definitely grown on me. but they are a PITA to keep clean, especially since I live on a dirt road.

as far as I know, weld does not offer an all black RTS, but I have seen pictures of black powder coated ones and they do look good. I figured if I didn't like it I would go that route as well since I am a fan of black wheels

thanks man! I really like them, really good grip on the street in the corners and also in a straight line unless I launch it from a stop. I am at about 350-360whp (guesstimate) and the car hooks in first gear from a roll. if I am stopped and launch it, they will spin but catch when I hit second gear. I haven't found the cornering limit yet on the street with the 295s in front. I cant wait to see how they do on a road coarse or autocross

Looks great! Any reason for not going 18x11?

In for any updates. I love these wheels and this exact setup would be my choice.

I wanted the square setup so that I have the ability to rotate the tires.

It is also MUCH more stable and 'balanced' on a road course/autocross with a fully square set up (wheel AND tire width the same front AND back), than the ever popular on here 'staggered' set ups.

Sorry, I meant all the way around. From what I've read from a handling aspect a square 315 setup is the hot ticket. But an 18x11 might be a bit much for the front.

Ahh gotcha, I don't think I have seen a 18x11 square setup on a 4th gen before and it really didn't cross my mind to be honest. I have seen the 17x11 square setup though with 315 tires and I guess that seemed overkill since it is mainly a street car. I wouldn't mind a 18x11 with a 305 or 315 on the back for traction purposes when I put my turbo kit on, but for now the 295 works well for my current power level. not sure about any fitment issues on the front with a 18x11 vs. the 17x11, I would assume that it is possible without any major modifications

I came across a Fbody on FB running 18x12 with 335 Rivals, fender rolling/cutting involved but my jaw dropped.

I ran a 18x10.5 "square" setup and lowered on my 96 and that car pulled all over the highway. On my 97 I have the 9.5/10.5 and it is a much better drive, not to mention what I'm running suspension wise you cant get this car to leave the road.

I haven't had any tracking issues on the highway, more so on secondary/backroads roads but it still isn't too bad. getting rid of the factory steering wheel helped as well

Wider tires tracking on the highway just makes you become more "aware" while driving.

Add in a "performance" alignment and it really gets interesting lol

18 x 11 square.

Not my tire size of choice. 295/30 18s.

Would have preferred a 315/30 18 but we wanted AD08Rs for a specific race series. Tuck under fine, and worked well.
