295/35/18 anyone have these?? a while back a guy on here had a set of ROH RT rims wit 295/35/18 rubber on them.. i em getting a set of these wheels but im not sure if that rubber will fit all the way around? or do i need 18x8 wheels up front? the 295 are mounted on the 18x10 i was about to order them today but they asked if i wanted 18x10 for the front also.. so just checkin wit u guys to be safe. thanx alot |
I'm running 295/35/18s out back on 18x10s. They won't fit up front, you'll need to go with 275/35/18s on a 9/9.5 inch wheel. Whatever the wheel company can do, I'd try and go for 18x9s up front. Rob |
ok thanx alot man.. i think they go from 18X10 to 18X8.. thats kinda shity.. cant fit very big wheels on a 8" rim.. im gona ask to make sure before i place my order.. thanx |
RT's definitely come in 18X9's. Group A has been running a ROH RT special with 18X9's (275) up front and 18X10's (295) in back. In fact, when I was looking to get RT's I has Group A find out if I could run 18X10's all the way around. The wheels would have fit fine. |
so group a is running 275 up front? then u say that 295 would fit? if so how come they wernt running it? ya i would like to have same tire size all the way around.. but i don't want big problems with rubbing and bottoming out.. i guess not many ppl do have 295 up front or woulda got more replys? maybe just better off wit 275 ? |
You'll be better off just running the 275/35/18 up front, I run that on a 18x9.5 rim. I have seen the 295 on a 10.5 wide rim up front done before, but you'll have to do some work to get it to fit. You could mold in the plastic's to gain some extra room if you were to do this. |
With the correct offset however, won't the wheel/tire (18"x10" w/ 295/35/18) fit up front fine without any other modifications? Andrew |
Yes it will fit no problem just measure everything up first and run a spacer if you have to. Some are running 315's up front which is quite a bit more aggressive yet. I have a new set of 18 x 10.5's coming with 295's on all four corners should be here tomorow, Ill take pics. I had 285's on all four corners before no problems at all . . . . now a freind is running them with no problems. Measure twice , buy them once :) |
perfect.. let me no how everything goes.. wut ur offset is and if they rub turning, bottoming out etc.. i would rather run all same rubber on all four corners.. hope to hear from ya soon |
Im runnin 295 18"'s on a set of 9.5" rims, I think they will work fine for you. |
IMO Iwouldn't run anything bigger than 265/35/18 up front. I know wheels/tires are for looks but their main function is to drive. Very big tires up front and you end up swaying from one side to the other as roads are not perfectly level. I run 245/40/18 up front and 285/35/18 out back (Yoko, AVS) believe it is plenty with no interference. |
if you like to turn corners you need more rubber up front . |
Does anyone have 18x10's on all 4 corners with 295/35/18 tires...anyone? What are the specs on the wheels? Offset and backspacing front and rear. Andrew |
I've read of a guy running 18"X10" all the way around but the largest tire he can run is a 275/35/18 all the way around. That's a little thin in my opinion and it required quite a bit of work to make the fronts fit. I'm running a 295/35/18 on a 18"X10.5" in the rear lowered with eibach pro, BMR LCA's and adj panhard. Up front I'm running 265/40/18 on 18"X9.5" but I would like to change that to a 285/35/18. "0" rubbing |
