Default 02 transam 5.50 backspace on narrowed rear

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has run 5.5 backspace on an 02 transam with a 3" narrowed rear on each side?

If so how hard was it to fit the tire? Can you fit a 315?

Any pics?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

315/60? That's a huge tire for the stock tub, not going to fit without mini tub, others have had success with that combination of wheel offset and narrowing but with a smaller tire.

It would be a 15x10 rim

I need to run the biggest tire on. 15x10 with 5.5 bs on a 02 transam without tubbing the car.
Maybe 315?

Actually probably best to run a 295/55/15

Can I run a 5.5 inch bs rim with those tires and offset Lca bushings?

you should not need offset lca's for that set up OP. theres a few members on here running the 295/55/15 on that setup. when one of those members put the 325/50 on there i believe he had to put a small spacer on. but with the 295/55 and 275/60 you will not have to run a spacer. i cant remember the members screeen name, but maybe he'll see this and chime in.

Thanks. So I guess now my question would be 4.50 or 5.50 bs? What will be best for a 275/60/15?

I went with the 4.5 bs and put the 325/50 on and I liked the look. honestly it'll be up to if you want the wheel tucked in an inch or so from stock or if you like the wheel in the stock location.

Narrowed 3" per side i'd say go 4.5" BS. I went 2.25" narrower
per side and got 5.5bs and added a .25 spacer to get back out where i wanted.
