Default 18 in corvette Magnesium Rims, with ctsv front breaks

I just put 18 inch corvette magnesium rims all around, with ctsv breaks up front. I had to run ebiach bolt in 20 mm spacers all around, however, the fit is now perfect, which give the rims a 40mm offset now. We have an Lt4 camaro with grand sport wheels, the car has a factory 40mm offset. The tires and rims fit the same, as that on my lt4. I could not be happier with this set up.

Magnesium wheels are really the way to go. I would of loved to kept the 17s up front, I wish I could of kept them, but it would not work with the big break package. Honestly, the 1 LE stock breaks are pretty good, only that, the disc are prong to warping. Like I said, the 1 le breaks are pretty good. I dint notice all that more in breaking, only that I am confident that I can slam on these breaks. I babied the 1 le breaks, where I dont have to think about it here.

I still have refurbished 17 inch powder coat black magnesium rims , that I did not use , with just about new tires on them, if anybody is interested? You can see pics in sales department. But here is how my car looks. Again, I think it totally made the car. I cant be happier. So if anybody is thinking on running these rims, they are so worth it, if you can get your hands on these rare wheels.

Are the 17s 8.5 wide, or 9.5 wide??

What width are the 18s on the car?

I wish that someone made some 18x10.5 replicas of the EXACT wheels you have on your ride right now, they look PERFECT and are EXACTLY what I want with NO polished lip, NO silver 'machining', and most of all NO rivets (fake or otherwise).

I know, these rims are sic... These are very special rims. I am sure if somebody made them, with the proper offset for our cars. They would sell a ton of them. However the original magnesium rims are rare now. And they only weigh 19 pounds. They are one of the lightest rims made.
