Default 19X12 rear wheels

Anybody running this wheel size on the back? I am looking at the z06 spyder rear wheels? (I currently have 18x9.5 all the way around) From the math it looks seems they would fit about like a 11" TT2 just with an extra inch of wheel to the inside. I think I could get away with them with rolled fenders and a small spacer. Anyone have any insight on this?

I have included a link to the wheels I am looking at

I ran those exact wheels on my 01 t/a. It is a pain in the ***. Ran a 1/4" (I think... can't remember for sure) spacer but didn't roll the fenders professionally, but tweaked them with a baseball bat. Had to cut the bumpstops and it rubbed on both the inside and outside. Tried to BFH it as much as I could but the spring buckets would still rub on the rim any time it went off camber. And this is with only 305's. I THINK if you're lowered a little, with completely rolled fenders, spacer, cut bumps, adjustable panhard and BFH mod it's doable up to 315 maybe but I don't think it'll be completely issue free.

Thats strange, I have ran 315s before and didnt have any issues. They rubbed a little on the outside but I didnt have my fenders rolled at the time.

I don't know the specifics of tire fitments and sizes in inches but there's going to be a difference between 315 on a 12in wide wheel and a smaller diameter 11in wide wheel. I don't know how much difference and you also have to factor in sidewall size as well. I also had an adjustable panhard and I know it could have used a very slight adjustment and it would fit a little bit better but I'm not sure it could have made too much of a difference. It was pretty damn close and it still rubbed on both sides.

I may be looking into the same wheel setup soon myself. Wonder if a 305, 295 or even 285 might fit on that rim without being too stretched?

Those would all look ridiculously stretched IMO, and i don't see the point of running a 12" wide wheel if you are going to put a tire that is made to fit a ~10" wide wheel on it anyway.
Also OP try a search.

305 fits. I ran 305 bridgestone potenzas on mine. They were stretched pretty bad, but they were run flats and didn't look all that stretched. I did however blow one on my way home from work and every time I turned a corner, the tire would swap from the inner bead to the outer depending on the direction, so they were definitely too narrow.

I'm currently running 19 x 12's on the back with 345/30's .

Went with Nitto Invo's and they seem to break loose easy. Mite go to a drag radial. ?

Anyway, for this size, I Mini Tubbed it and shortened rear diff housing and axles by 1 inch. Now, No rubbing and lots a rubber on the ground.

It's scary.

This was what I bought the wheels for in the first place. I would still like to do it but I ran out of money pretty quick so it's always been half assed and I'm just really tired of them by now.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...5-30-19-a.html

This is my original post after I test fitted the wheels, with original rear axle width. Don kno why the pics are upside down, sorry.

They would have worked, though I'm sure I'd have to roll the lip and prolly would have been OK if I did not lower the car.

Since I went with Viking coil overs all the way around and lowered it a lil, I decided to have the diff narrowed.

Grabbed another set of the 19x12's and going to try some Toyo R888 on them.

Hopefully they won't break loose @ 30mph just mashing it a lil

Don't know HP yet as breaking in diff, tho just 3.08 gears and a 3600 stall. That TCC lock up switch sure is nice once I get the turd rollin....

looks like they would have worked with out narrowing, like U said stock ride height.

Now it needs bigger brakes to fill up the center of the wheels.

Run these exact wheels. OEM spyders 18/19 275/35 front and 345/30 rear. Had to cut bumpstops/framerail skin and bfh the inner fender well with 1/4" spacer. Has SLP springs and bilsteins. Has 0 rubbing. Name: IMG_20150730_224320_zpsbipuzhvs.jpg

Just the pass side, drivers side was the same cut but I took off the inner skin also. No fender rolling at my ride height...if it was lower say on stranos or eibach pro's you would probably need to.
