WELD RTS-71 Black 17 inch front wheel and tire options??
I have some 15x10 WELd RTS Black S-71s for the rear with 275/50/15 ET streets. I am going to buy some 17 inch fronts to match. I have some brand new 275/40/17 street tires to mount but they require a 9 inch wheel. What 17 inch wheel and offset should i put on my car?? Should i put a skinny wheel/tire or wider wheel/tire on the front?? Your opinions please. I like to drive the car around on weekends etc but mostly a garage queen. I do not know what backspacing wheel to get for the fronts. The backs are 7.5 but did require some grinding of the calipers.
Thanks for thoughts and pics if you have any. Help me with my decision.

Thanks for link. I cannot make my mind up on 17x4.5 or 17x9.5. Not sure if the wider wheels would look as good as the skinny. I know it will handle better for sure. Cannot find any pics of a car with 17x9.5s on it.

Most People who do this setup usually go for the skinnies up front. I know I am. If your worried about stopping power, it is decreased but in my case I have not found it to be at all noticeable. It would be hard to find someone who does big wall tires like you have in the back and low profile tires up front. Mainly cause big wall tires don't handle very well.
