Default CCW SP500's with a new twist

Apparently these haven't been done in this finish before. I simply can't wait to get them on my car, but have to get tires, a TPMS/Receiver conversion setup, and finish up the C6Z brake package that's going on at the same time.

Bright clear anodized. The pics don't do it justice.

I wanted something different, but love the Sp500's so much. This fit the bill wonderfully and will be subtle and understated on my nassau blue Vette.

Did you order them with that finish from CCW? Those wheels are going to look great on the Vette. Can't wait to see pictures.

They came like that directly from CCW. No refinishing at all.

Classics were the first ones I saw with that finish and sold me on them. Once John sent me a pic of some Sp16A's so I could see a full wheel finished like that, I was sold.

How are yours holding up? John specifically cautioned me against using Hawks pads because of how corrosive the dust is as if left on the wheels it'll eat the anodized finish off. Did you use any wax or coating on the wheels to protect them at all?

I haven't put anything on mine and I've had them for a year now as my daily driver...rain, snow...everything. Mine still look new.

Putting a thin coat of wax on them wouldn't hurt at all.

That will look awesome. I've never seen this wheel with that finish before. I am not a fan of chrome or polished wheels

I feel as if they will look exactly like the cheap OE wheels C5 style wheel that they make that's very similar to that finish. If I were paying big money for CCWs I would want them polished to stand out from the imitators. But to each their own.

Soon hopefully. I got forced into having to buy a new car so that's taking priority right now (got rear ended at a light, waiting for insurance to pay out on my car and i'm going to cash out of pocket on something nicer).

I'm intent on having my calipers sent out this month for coating, and I still need tires, pads, brake lines, and all the stuff for the 01+ TPMS conversion.

If I could get the current wheels/tires sold it would come a LOT quicker.

I guess you've never been through Taos, Ruidoso, or even desert LS1's hometown in the winter?
