Nitto's and 60ft

How much better can i expect my 60ft to be? It seems that is the thing that is killing my times, besides the track. I actually ran 2.7 once :eyes:
but my best has been 2.3. So how much can i expect to drop?

I'm curious too. Just ordered 315 nittos and can't wait to run my car with them. My best short time was 2.2 on street tires. I heard of guys cutting 2.0's with stock tire pressure in nitto dr's. Much lower short times when they let air out (18-20 psi) though.

315 nittos take down to 22 psi at the track and let em eat ! I went from an all time best of 1.94 on a 315 street tire (2.0 best on a street 275/40/17) to a blistering 1.70 60ft on 315 nittos...they work! Good hard burnout, no dry hop, right to the line, stage and go! They hook better at the track than alot of people think!!!!!

yep, smoke em hard! I cut 1.8's and hook like mad. If not for not having enough gear, I could pull 1.7's on them. BTW~ I am on 275 Nittos.

BTW~ I run 15 psi, but you need to check them after the first run when they are hot. Pressure will be higher and need to be brought down again.

i cut 1.9 60's all day on my 275/40/17 nittos and i dont even heat them up for that long, they hook really good.
