Default Anyone have a review on the ET Street S/S?

Thinking I'm going with these. Mostly street with the track on the weekends. 275/60/15. Anyone have any experience with them on the street car? I'm sub 550 at the tire. 4200 stall and 4.11s. Full weight 4th gen.

MT claims it's the same tire as the original ET Street radial with a different tread. I believe that statement but it seems some of the faster guys testing are seeing that they are not hooking as well. I think at your power level they will be a great choice though.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I'm not putting down a ton of power and the RT-S' won't be on the car all the time. It's daily driven on some TT2s with a 315/35 Mickey. I think I'll end up ordering them and see what happens.

I just ordered a set myself to try. I got 255/50R16 for my spare rims an they will mostly be just track use. Im not expecting to dead hook on them but should be a big improvement from my current setup. I think big factor will be tire pressure and how much heat they need to grip the best. I do light street driving also,handling..tire life etc wont be an issue for me.
