Default Fikse's on the car...well 2 so far anyway

***Updated*** Post #43 has all four on!

I couldn't wait to see how these things were going to look, so I mounted the fronts yesterday. I'm not even going to try the rears until the quarters are rolled. The 315/35-18 Toyo TQ's are WIIIIDE!

Glad you posted this. This section was getting so boring. Nice to see some high end wheels on a beautiful WS6. Of all the FISKE wheels, those are by far my favorite. I had a set of FM5's back in the day, and they were really nice, but were Vette offset.

Thanks, I appreciate that! It took some time to save the coin for these things, but it was so worth it. I didn't dislike the Speedlines enough to replace them with anything less than what I wanted.

I like your ride too. The drag wheel setup in your sig is bad ***! I like the stance with those Viking Coilovers too.

Thanks! I've had everything from FIKSE to CCW's, and now the Race Star Dark Star setup. One day I'll sell these and get back into a set of CCW's. They have come out with a lot of new wheels lately.

Don't be a wuss....slap those rears on, it won't hurt anything for a couple pics.

Let's set a time up soon so you can stop by and we can roll some metal

Haha! I put one rear on, but only to look at the bump stop clearance...or lack thereof.

Looks great! What do you plan to do about those bump stops? Don't want them to gouge up those nice wheels.

I'm hoping that if I shave off 1/4 inch of the face of the stops it'll be enough. Not much room in front of the bolts though. I REALLY don't want to remove them.

I'm having the same dilemma. I don't want to remove mine either, but when the suspension is hanging, my passenger side gets caught. I was thinking about grinding it down and smoothing the edges out like you mentioned, but I'm not sure how much will need to be removed.

Perfect set up is to cut them off and relocate inboard. I cut mine off as an interim fix...bagged the springs. Going to have a new bracket welded further in and remove the bags.

Best wheels for a WS6! I still remember the day I unboxed them, didnt even want to put them on the car. Looked damn good sitting in my room. I'm still yet to roll my fenders with Nitto 315s but it is on the to do list..

Dem rims are nice!

lol... I never thought I see the day when aftermarket rims cost more than what some used f-bodies are actually worth.

I was that way for a bit, but then I couldn't wait to get them on the car. It's been a long winter haha!

Yeah, certainly pretty close to what the high mileage ones are going for

Ya I waited about 6 months to get mine after placing the order and when they finally came it was winter in CT so it was a long time, guess I was real patient at that point

Thanks! Your engine bay is ridiculous! It'll be my motivation to do something with mine this year. I've got a clean stock thing going right now lol.

Lol, no doubt! I would frequently take mine out of the box to look at them. My wife must have been jealous.

try jacking up the car from the center of the rearend
and you wont have any issues with the bumpstop hitting and rubbing.
