Default Fikse Fm5 with new Nitto 555G2s

Just ditched the E.T streets for these 315 35 r17s today. Very happy with the look so far. Jury is still out on the performance though.

Hang tight, another ss will pop up one day. I wasn't even looking for this one. Just so happened, when we bought our home, I spotted this sitting in a driveway. Wasn't advertised or anything, after seeing it unmoved for about a month.....I just knocked on the person's door, and the rest is history.

Lol, nah....think I will ride it out. I've only laid into it briefly once, and they seemed to hook about as good as et streets. Will see how it is with some real boost put to em.

Are the g2's a drag radial or a sticky street tire?

I would say a sticky street tire. It's not like an et street, meaning yes it's legal but you better not be caught in the rain. The g2s, I would be comfortable with them in the rain. I will be driving the car this weekend, and will report more of my findings. But it seemed that on the way home from the tire shop, the car was riding better. Not sure if it's the "new mod " feeling or not yet.

I hear that. Full tilt, I'm making 810/875......and if the track is hooking, I'm going all in. I think 400rwtq at 3k would make ANY tire bleed

Figured I might give an update. I really can't say I'm impressed with these tires. With 100% chance of rain this Wednesday, there won't be a track session. But i will tell you that on the street, the tires are thoroughly abused on into 3rd. Not sure if I'm just expecting to much or what, but I really did expect more than what I'm getting. They do look lovely though ď
