Default tire/rim size 65 impala

question is what size tire can you get under the rear for a 65 impala without any modifications? anyone have a clue? i wanted to go with a 275/35/20 but was wondering if anyone has done it yet

Should fit no problem. I was researching this for my pops 65 SS. guys were claiming 295/60/15s (if I remember correctly) which is quite abit larger in everyway than wheel above. Hope you're able to find a concrete answer, best of luck.

285 Fit mine but it's a 68. Same frame though. You will probably need an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear.
