so your looking to just clean the lip, or polish? I use mothers polish I got from oreilly's on the lip and black centers, I just don't use much pressure on the black. not sure if it is okay but I haven't had a problem yet. maybe send and email to weld?

1. Clean wheel with wheel cleaner.
2. Dry wheel
3. Use wheel polish on polished surfaces.

Yeah, don't use the wheel polish on the black part. I assume it has some type of paint/clear-coat on it. If the polish doesn't turn black on whatever you're using to apply the polish and rub it in with, then it's not raw aluminum and has some type of clear-coat on it.

do not use any wheel cleaner on the black surface. The chemicals will eat away the anodized finish, there is no clear on it to protect it.

its an anodize finish so it is pretty durable, although I'm sure it will scratch if you try
