Default Fitment question: c6z06 oem on lowered fbody

Car : 02 convertible with koni str shocks and bmr 1.25" lowered springs
Wheels: oem c6z06 18x10 and 19x12

Will these fit without any rubbing?
I'm guessing some body mods will be needed to the rear?

I'm in the process of mounting OEM C6Z wheels on my 02 SS coupe with BMR springs and Koni SA shocks and its a PITA. Roll the fenders, center the axle as close as you can, and get ready to hammer the wheel wells. So far the biggest PITA is the bumpstops. They are just straight up in the way. Even the strength ribs on the side are contacting with the tires. I'm trying not to just go the easy route and cut them all the way off as I want to fab up some new bumpstops.

Here's where I'm at so far:

I did a lot more clearing than that on the left side, but I forgot to take a picture of it. BTW this is still going to need a good bit more work done to clear.

Starting to see some good results. Still have to do this to the left side, fab up some new bumpstops, then see how it clears when compressed. I'm thinking maybe the best way to check is to take the springs out and use a jack to articulate the rearend around. It's tight in there though. I only get about an hour a daylight left to work on it after work right now so it's taking a while to finish.

Hi, I literally signed up on this site because of JROC,& 2JAWS. I have a 97 SS Camaro, & I got a set of factory Z06 wheels as well. I’m trying to do the same thing y’all are doing. I have been talking to my brother, he is a welder and he was telling me we can notch out some of the fender well to make them fit, & tuck in. Plus I’m checking into shortening the reared to bring to the wheel in more. If y’all have any suggestions, please I’m all 👂👂👂👂.

Unless you tub you don't want to bring wheel in any further with this 12. All I did was have tubular rear lower control arms, trim bumpstop bracket, rolled fenders and a whole lot of BFH. Many test fits along the way! If you know the specific areas to work it's really not bad at all. Mine fit fine with no spacers. Only rubbing issue I had was if I went into a corner very hard I would only hear the driver side rub a touch, that was it.

If you want to come to Columbia to get them I don't mind selling them.

Got a few other OEM parts as well like swaybars, shocks/springs with less than 35K on them, front calipers, LCA's, LID. Also have some Polyurethane motor mounts I never used. Another thing is a Monsoon head unit that wasn't working properly.
