Pics?

*nevermind you posted pics on the previous page. Looks real nice Dave! Do the 315's stick out very far from the wheel wells? I am not a fan of that look but it seems like the OE wheels tend to tuck in better.

No ABS/TCS issues with that set-up being over 3% different?

Thanks, no they don't stick out at all. I actually am running 1/4" spacers all around as well.

Different flavor. Here is an old pic of my set up. Staggered 18x10.5/17x9.5 C5 Deep Dishes from OE wheels painted Gray. I originally went with a 295 on the back and it was not enough tire or sidewall for my liking. I now have a 305 M/T ET Street on the back with a taller profile and it looks better. I always get a lot of compliments on the wheels with the big dish in the back and the subtle gray touch with the polished lips.

Love the grey with the black. Are you happy you went with staggered 17/18?

The main reason I went staggered was to get the wider rim in the back to a 10.5, not really the diameter. At the time they didn't offer a 17x11" in that style or I may have gone that route to allow a tire with a little more sidewall at the same height. Now I do like the way it looks. The bigger rim in the larger rear wheel well seems to be symmetrical and also give it a little bit of the raked look with the rear sitting slightly higher than the front. Although the railroad tracks in the picture mess with the stance, I am running Strano springs with Koni shocks with the front on the lowest perch.

Looks wise 18's all around looks better but I decided to keep 17/18 for the Vette. Has to be some reason why Chevy chooses to do so lol.

I think staggered makes a lot of sense on the vettes. That back of the car is so much bigger/bulkier that the staggered wheels really look balanced.

But beware of OE Wheels if you get chrome....their chrome plater in China SUCKS. 6 months and the chrome is trashed, falling off and chipping everywhere.
I sent mine to get stripped and re-chromed by a real chrome plating company. If you try to get them covered under warranty, they will tell you that brake dust caused it.

.
I ordered a set of 17x9.5 chrome Z06 wheels from OE a few weeks ago and they were pitted straight out of the boxes. Sent them back for a refund. Sad how bad chrome plating has gotten these days on wheels. Had some 24" wheels on my SUV and they started pitting after 1 month and the place I bought them from blamed it on the brake dust too. CRAZY!

OE Wheels wanted me to actually send my wheels back to them....HAHAHA......so they could inspect them. I sent them about 20 close-up high definition pictures from every angle possible.....they said it was guaranteed brake dust and they are not covered. I also had two letters from chrome plating places here in Ft. Lauderdale who do chrome plating for mult-million $$$ yachts.....they visually inspected them for me in person....they said it was poor prep work before the chrome plating went on. No doubt about it.

OE Wheels still said.....it was brake dust.

There was no way they would say it was a manufacturing defect after I spent $150.00 to ship them back to them.

SO.....they discounted me on a brand new set of 4 wheels exactly the same as what I had on my car. So I paid with a credit card, received the new wheels....AND REVERSED THE CHARGES IMMEDIATELY. HELL if a company is going to dictate to me how their warranty is going to work...or in this case NOT WORK.

I had my tires swapped onto the new wheels. The chrome started falling off of these new wheels, pitting and cracking in 3 months.

JUNK.

So now I have 2 sets of the same wheels. I had one set sent out as I mentioned, rear wheels widened...then all 4 stripped and re-chromed.

THEY ARE BADASS.

The other spare set I will also send to get stripped and re-chromed.....or I may have my friends shop powder coat them some other color like glossy black.

.

Whats up....right now I have my new widened set of 18 x 12.5 wheels with their new 335 tires mounted on them. My 18 x 9.5 newly chromed front wheels are in the boxes without tires.

I have my second set of 18 x 10.5 ((the warranted set they sent to me)) as they came from OE Wheels on my car now with 315 tires.

When I get home.....I'm stuck in the damn Middle East right now......I can weigh the fronts when I get home. I can also weigh the 18 x 10.5 wheels with the 315 tires on them, and just subtract the weight of the tires, which I already know.

OE Wheels might be able to give you the weight if you call or email them....
